Street Portriat: Bird Man

Bird Man
We were on our way home from the library when we saw this guy with a parrot walking down the street. My wife said quick pull over get your camera and go take a picture. I was thankful for the creative push and so here is the result. This bird was 16 years old. The man had bought the bird when it was an egg and furthermore told me they live anywhere from 75 to 100 years old. On a side note the guy also had a tiny little chihuawa (I know this is spelled wrong but it won't tell me how to spell it) looking dog.

I am very thankful for my wife's encouragement because I want to constantly be creating images wherever I go. So, not only is she a great wife, mother, and photographer but also a great boost for my creativity!

I love it! Great that your wife encouraged you to stop and take that shot.

The best shots are often those that are unplanned and just happen.

Thank you both for the comments. Not only is it good to know someone's looking but its encouraging and motivating to get some feedback.

That has to be one of the more unique photos ever taken in Springfield. Something I'd like to see in the "Pearl Photo Gallery" someday. Good work!

(You might get a few more comments or reviews if you loosened the requirements for posting a comment. I believe you've got it set to where only those with a Google account may post.)

Thanks for letting me know that Steve. I had no idea. Now if I can figure out how to go about opening it up we will see what happens. Thanks for the comment on the photo as well.
